
A Nevada real estate broker license permits you to sell residential property, commercial property, and vacant land. In addition, you may hire real estate salesmen to work under you. You also have the option of hanging your broker license under another broker.

The following are all the requirements for a Nevada real estate brokers license. You must meet all these requirements for your application to be accepted. If you do not meet all the requirements, your application for a Nevada real estate license will be denied.
- You must be 18 years old.
- You must complete the appropriate license course. These courses are offered by our school.
- You must be in compliance with court ordered child support payments.
- You must pass a criminal background check. If you do have a criminal conviction it is the sole decision of the Real Estate Division to grant a license. Felonies within the past 3 years, or crimes involving violence, sexual assault, white collar activity, will usually result in denial.
- You must be a citizen of the USA or be legally admitted to work in the USA.
- You must have a social security number.
- You must pass the Nevada license exam.
- You must complete the license application and answer all questions accuratly and honestly.
- You must pay the appropriate application fee.
In addition to the general requirements you must also meet the following broker specific requirements:
Experience: Worked as a salesman or broker (in any state) full time for 24 consecutive months out of the immediate preceeding 4 years.
College Courses: You must have completed the following college courses...
- 15 college credits in a course with "Economics", "Business", or "Real Estate" in the title.
- 3 college credits in a course with "Real Estate Appraisal" in the title.
- 37 college credits from any courses.
For every 24 consecutive months of full time experience as a salesman or broker (in any state) you may waive 16 college credits.

BROKER MANAGEMENT COURSE - This course is mandatory for a Nevada broker license. There is no way it can be waived. This course is needed if you are upgrading from a Nevada salesman license. It is a textbook correspondence course that also comes with supportive study guide books. You complete the course at your own pace. Study as little or often as you like, when you like.
Both the broker management textbook and the study guide book will be sent to you in the mail (free shipping). This book has thousands of practice questions in the exact same format as the license exam. All the data the exam questions come from is presented to you in an easy format in the study book.
Licensed in another state? You will also need the Nevada Law course in addition to the Broker Management course. This is a text book & online course.
